Role Overview The Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) team is responsible for improving the quality, consistency, and usability of enterprise knowledge content. This position will support the enterprise-wide transformation of knowledge assets, ensuring content is standardized, searchable, structured, and optimized for future AI-enabled knowledge experiences. The role involves partnering with business units, subject matter experts (SMEs), and content owners to review, revise, and modernize existing content.

Key Responsibilities
* Review, analyze, and modernize existing procedural, policy, reference, and knowledge content in accordance with EKM standards.
* Rewrite and restructure content using approved AI-enabled technologies, templates, content models, and style guides.
* Collaborate with business unit SMEs and content owners to validate content accuracy, completeness, and business intent.
* Ensure content adheres to plain-language and user-centered design principles to improve findability and comprehension.
* Apply metadata, tagging, and classification to support enterprise search and AI-readiness initiatives.
* Participate in content inventories, audits, and gap analyses to identify outdated or redundant information.
* Align content with established migration requirements and prepare knowledge assets for platform migration.
* Support testing, validation, and issue remediation activities associated with content modernization.
* Track content modernization progress and maintain status reporting for assigned business units.

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** A Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Knowledge Management, Business, Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
*
* Experience:

** Experience creating, editing, or managing business, operational, instructional, procedural, or knowledge-based content. This includes experience collaborating with subject matter experts to document business processes and organizing complex information into concise documentation.
** Technical

Skills:

** Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting enterprise content modernization, content migration, or knowledge management initiatives.
* Experience with structured authoring, content architecture, metadata management, or taxonomy development.
* Experience working in financial services, banking, credit unions, or regulated industries.
* Knowledge of knowledge management principles and content governance practices.
* Experience using knowledge management platforms or content management systems.
* Familiarity with AI-readiness concepts, including content standardization and metadata enrichment.
* Understanding of user experience (UX) writing and information architecture principles.
