You will compare system-generated outputs with real-world tax documents and scenarios, apply defined rubrics, and provide precise feedback on accuracy, completeness, and user experience.
The position is listed as entry level and requires hands-on experience filing 2025 U.S. taxes independently or with a CPA or tax professional. It is a part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week, with an advertised rate of $35-$110 per hour.

You will evaluate tax-related workflows and financial processes using consistent review methods. Your findings should clearly explain whether outputs are accurate, complete, and usable, while following project procedures for document handling and communication.
- Review, annotate, and evaluate U.S. tax filing workflows
- Assess related financial processes and compare outputs with real-world tax documents and scenarios
- Apply structured rubrics to judge accuracy, completeness, and user experience
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback about evaluation findings
- Use secure account and document connections to support workflow reviews and document sharing
- Provide relevant tax-related materials for project tasks, with downstream use occurring after personally identifiable information is sanitized
- Coordinate asynchronously and provide timely updates on deliverables
This role requires practical familiarity with U.S. tax filing and strong attention to detail when reviewing financial documents. You should be comfortable making consistent judgments against defined evaluation criteria and communicating the reasoning behind your findings.
