As a Security Officer – Roving Patrol in Fairdale, KY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related issues. You will support access control, observe activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors.

Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:00 AM – 05:00 PM;
Tue 06:00 AM – 05:00 PM;
Wed 06:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service to warehouse and distribution center personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, yard areas, trailer rows, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and vehicle flow at entrances and exits, verifying identification, visitor authorizations, and delivery or pickup information per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and Allied Universal supervision and documenting actions taken.
• Complete routine reports and logs such as patrol activity, access activity, and incident documentation, using required systems and/or forms according to post orders.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
