Job DescriptionAllied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Restaurant in Boston, MA.
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM.
Starting Pay is $19.00 per hour. Paid Orientation, Paid Training. Daily Pay available.
As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail/malls and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to deter security‑related incidents.
You will support access points, assist guests and staff with clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility, reliability, and innovation to a caring, people‑first team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store team members by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, back‑of‑house corridors, receiving areas, and exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, lost child reports, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate updates to site contacts as needed.
- Monitor access points, corridors, and retail entrances, observing for unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or hazards and report issues according to post orders.
- Complete incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation; provide clear verbal directions and/or assistance to customers while maintaining a professional presence.
- Customer Service Experience – preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience – preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
