Security Officer - Burlington KY

Position Type: Full Time

Salary: $20.06 - $20.06 Hourly

Inter‑Con Security Systems, Inc. provides integrated security solutions to government and commercial customers on four continents. The Security Officer secures vital assets, uses enhanced security procedures, and supports the company’s secure environment.

• Make access badges in accordance to SLA.
• Screen associates and determine root cause of activations.
• Monitor post activity to ensure the security of the facility, preventing unauthorized access.
• Review and save CCTV video regarding incidents.
• Complete various logs and incident reports by end of shift.
• Respond to alarms in accordance to SLA standards.
• Input Incident Reports in database by end of shift.
• Provide direction and support to associates and assist associates with security matters as needed.
• Conduct patrols and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, etc.
• Conduct various audits.
• Perform escorts if requested.
• Respond and assist with all emergencies.
• Back‑fill open positions for breaks, lunches or call‑offs as needed.
• Participate in emergency evacuation response.

• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Must understand, read, and write in English.
• Successfully complete a Fingerprint background check and drug screening.

• Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking in the performance of daily security activities.
• Open availability nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed.
• Work various shifts and holidays as assigned.
