As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, radios, and/or incoming calls to support timely awareness of incidents, maintenance issues, and other security-related concerns.

+ Coordinate the routing of calls, messages, and incident information to appropriate site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations by documenting details, maintaining communication with field personnel, and helping to support orderly response actions.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
