Job Summary

Provides internal support in securing the assets of the Tahoe properties and specifically to the Casino Operations (Tables Games, Cashiers, Slots departments) by expediting chip fills, credits, and marker buy backs.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • Assist guests by giving directions and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Investigate all accidents on Harrah’s/Caesars Republic premises.
  • Assist injured guests and apply first aid and/or CPR as necessary until professional help arrives.
  • Check identification of guests to ensure that only those 21 years of age and older are allowed in gaming areas.
  • Patrol the parking lot and garage by car or van.
  • Escort employees with monies.
  • Complete written reports as assigned.
  • Control and direct traffic as needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of great customer service.
  • Monitor and observe the casino, parking lot, and garage for disturbances, crimes, fire hazards and undesirable persons and report these issues to Security supervision.
What You Will Need
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of the material being handled.
  • Literacy and fluency in English.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire date.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Ability to obtain a license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize the standards required by a regulated business.
  • Act as a role model to other team members and always present oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment, encouraging others to do the same.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements
  • Auditory and visual fields must include immediate environment.
  • Ability to move quickly in response to emergency situations.
  • Ability to deal with violent situations by verbally de‑escalating them or by physically restraining a violent person.
  • Ability to rapidly climb 18 flights of stairs to provide assistance during an emergency.
  • Must be able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and carry the weight up to 2000 feet.
  • Must be able to restrain or assist in restraining a person of up to 200 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk/stand up to 8 hours per day.
  • Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.
  • Non‑public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
