Correctional Officer

$20.23 per hour

• Provide security, care, and direct supervision of inmates/residents in housing units, meals, recreation, work assignments, and all other activities in a correctional facility.
• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Work any shift, as you may be assigned to a variety of posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
• Employ weapons or force when necessary to maintain discipline and order.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Demonstrated ability to complete required training.
• Available to work any hours, any shift.
• At least 21 years of age.
