We ARE ALWAYS RECRUITING Estates and Facilities Officer to join our team, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students aged 16-19. This role combines vigilant site security with excellent customer service, supporting students as they transition to adulthood while upholding our college values and safety policies.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Serve as a visible and approachable presence on campus to ensure the safety and security of all students and staff.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus to monitor for any security issues or safety hazards.
  • Provide assistance and support to students, helping to foster a supportive environment as they transition to adulthood.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to safeguard students and staff.
  • Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing staff training to enhance security skills and stay updated on best practices.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in security or facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with young adults.
  • First aid and emergency response training are highly desirable.
