Potter County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Courthouse Security Guard at the Potter County Courthouse, located at 2 East Second Street, Coudersport, PA.
This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and members of the public conducting business at the Potter County Courthouse.
Primary responsibilities include
- monitoring courthouse entrances and exits
- screening individuals entering the facility
- enforcing courthouse security procedures
- responding to security concerns
- assisting with the orderly operation of the courthouse
The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and attentive in a public setting. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support courthouse operations and security.
