Salary: $24.08 to $26.61
Essential Functions:
- Processes Inmates, Conducts Work Release Program, Controls Inmate Movement, and Provides Routine Medical Care to Prisoners.
- Maintains Corrections Data Base, and Exhibits Concern for the Physical Welfare of All Prisoners.
Requirements:
- Corrections Experience Desired.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- He/She must be capable of obtaining a working knowledge of Jail Duties.
- He/She must be capable of becoming fluent in the LCSO Custody Division Policy Manual.
- He/She must possess sound interpersonal skills which would enable them to work with fellow staff, prisoners, court officers, and the general public.
- He/she must meet and pass medical exam and minimum standards, pass pre-employment drug screen, and pre-employment physical agility screen.
