* Minimum Requirements:

** To be considered for employment, you must meet the following criteria:
* ** Experience**:
At least
** two years
** of
** armed
* * security, law enforcement, or military service.
* ** Certification**: A valid
** State of Ohio OPOTA 20-hour firearms training certificate
** is required.  + If you do not currently possess this certification, please refer to the attached document for instructions on how to obtain it.  +

Note:

This training must be completed
** at your own expense
** prior to proceeding.  + Must be 21 years of age  + Must be citizen of the United States of America  + Must complete (sign/date) a Lautenberg Amendment Statement/Domestic Violence certification annually
** Important Information About Our Hiring Process:
*** AEPS is
** not a typical security company**. Our hiring process is comprehensive and may take
** 6 to 8 months**.
* As a
** Federal contractor**, all candidates must pass a
** government background check**, which can take
** 1 to 6 months**.  + Employment cannot begin until this check is successfully completed.
* Upon clearance, candidates must complete a
** physical exam**, including an
** agility test**.
* All new hires are required to complete the following
** in-house training**:  +
** 36 hours
** of classroom instruction  +
** 4 hours
** of OC/BAT training  +
** 4 hours
** of CPR certification  +
** 32 hours
** of firearms training and qualification## Qualifications Education Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
