As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms or unusual activity. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.
You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

- $20.00 / Hour
- All candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). Proof of age may be required during the application process.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). A copy of the driver's license should be submitted with the application.
- Applicants are required to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED (C137). Acceptable documentation includes a copy of the diploma, GED certificate, or official transcripts.
- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and deactivating access badges.
- Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Candidates must demonstrate experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm protocols, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events.
- Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 20 lbs (B208). This requirement is essential for certain positions that involve physical tasks.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
- Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accurate, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
