Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour

Mon 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
21+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
NOTE:

First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public access points, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate professionally with airport personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
