DescriptionSummary:
The Security Officer is responsible for providing exceptional service while ensuring the safety and security of the Ops Building associates, visitors, and property. This position maintains a secure environment by patrolling Ops Building grounds, monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and identifying potential safety hazards or security risks. The Security Officer enforces company policies, procedures, and regulations, ensures compliance with applicable laws and hotel standards, and takes appropriate action to prevent loss, damage, or disruption to hotel operations.
Through vigilance, professionalism, and prompt response to concerns, the Security Officer helps create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all associates and visitors.
- Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols
- Enforce hotel policies and handle security issues
- Respond to guest and employee emergencies
Assist with safety drills and training sessions - Report incidents and maintain security logs
- Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy
- Must have the ability to drive a company-assigned golf cart or other company-assigned vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Florida State driver's license in current good standing
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
