Security Worker

Job Description

Aramark is hiring a Security Worker for our facilities management operations in Williamsburg, Kentucky. This 3rd shift position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure campus by monitoring security cameras, conducting routine patrols, checking buildings and doors, and responding to security concerns as they arise. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently throughout the overnight shift.

This role requires frequent walking across the property, monitoring access points, and documenting incidents and safety concerns. If you have experience as a security officer, security guard, campus security professional, patrol officer, or access control monitor and are committed to maintaining a safe environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Compensation for this role is $14.00 perhour. Based on hiring manager input, the primary day-to-day responsibility is monitoring cameras and walking the entire campus to ensure doors and facilities remain secure

• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems during overnight hours.

• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of campus buildings and surrounding property.

• Walk the entire campus to ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured.

• Lock and unlock facilities according to established schedules and procedures.

• Verify authorized access and admit approved personnel, visitors, and vendors as required.

• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity.

• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and contact emergency services when needed.

• Investigate incidents and complete accurate written reports and documentation.

• Escort guests, visitors, and employees when required.

• Assist with parking lot monitoring and vehicle traffic control.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding incidents, investigations, and security-related information.

• Work independently while maintaining a professional presence throughout the facility

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Ability to work a consistent 3rd shift/overnight schedule

• Ability to walk the campus for extended periods during patrols.
• Ability to monitor cameras, observe surroundings, and recognize unusual activity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete incident reports accurately and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

• Previous experience as a Security Officer, Security Guard, Patrol Officer, Campus Security Officer, Loss Prevention Associate, or related role.
• Experience monitoring CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control systems, or security technology.
• Security license or certification if required by state or local regulations.
• Experience responding to incidents, conducting inspections, and preparing written reports.
