Job Description
WORKER is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the electrical parts of the welding machines and designated facilities.
Brief description:
Performs repairs and maintenance of the electrical parts (robot hands, robot controls, power controls, power supplies) of the welding machines; performs repairs of the facilities except e‑plus (painting room). Repairs the electrical parts of the welding machines.
- Standing, walking, bending and stooping.
- Reach/handle from floor to waist level.
- Grasping, lifting, carrying averaging 30‑50 lbs, may go up to 200‑300 lbs (power supplies) once a week or so.
- Plumbing.
- Electric wires and light fixtures.
- Roofing.
- Use of variety of hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment.
- Standing and walking.
- Weight handled – from 5‑50 lbs most of the time.
- Reach/handle activities at floor, knee, waist, chest and overhead levels.
- Requires staying in different postures (kneeling, crawling, climbing, stooping, crouching) from 5‑20 minutes at a time (can take breaks if needed).
