Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated carpenter to join our dynamic team. As a carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation processes, bringing architectural designs to life through your craftsmanship and expertise. This position demands a high level of skill in various carpentry techniques, an understanding of building codes, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

You will be responsible for working collaboratively with other construction professionals, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial construction projects and will possess a keen eye for detail, as well as a passion for woodworking. You will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assemble and install cabinets, shelves, drywall, and other fixtures as needed.
  • Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide estimates for project timelines and material costs, managing resources effectively.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a carpenter in residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including framing, finish work, and cabinetry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to carpentry work.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools common in the carpentry trade.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
B-Shift hours are as follows:
  • 6:00 am- 6:30 pm Friday-Sunday (36 hours)
  • Shift differential will be +$5.00/hr.
