Job Overview
Plumber – responsible for maintaining the domestic water, sanitary drains and sewer systems for the entire campus. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime and possible evening or weekend work for emergencies.
Responsibilities- Maintain domestic water, sanitary drains and sewer systems for the campus.
- Install and maintain plumbing equipment, including toilets, sinks, faucets, water heaters, water lines, sewer lines, D.I. water systems, R.O. systems, boilers and other plumbing fixtures.
- Clear drains in bathrooms, kitchens, dorms, offices, etc.
- Repair and replace leaking pipes, pumps, water heaters and plumbing fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and related systems according to established schedules.
- Conduct daily inspections, record keeping of time and material for jobs performed, and vehicle usage.
- Use company iPad to obtain, comment on, and close out tickets and communicate verbally with colleagues.
- Purchase and pick up material for service requests and projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Support emergency preparedness and respond to emergencies as directed, carrying a rotating cellphone for after‑hours calls.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
