Marina Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marina Service Technician to join our team in Grand Rivers, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on boats and marina equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of watercraft including engines, electrical systems, and hulls.
• Inspect boats and marina equipment to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Operate marina equipment such as lifts, trailers, and fueling stations safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to support marina operations and customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in marine mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience in boat maintenance and repair or related mechanical work.
• Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and general boat mechanics.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform effective repairs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

This position involves working in a marina setting, often outdoors near water. The role may require lifting heavy equipment and working in varying weather conditions. Safety awareness and adherence to protocols are essential.
