Join Our Team!We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Automotive Technician/Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of diesel-powered vehicles owned and operated by our auction company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of trucks, transport vehicles, and fleet equipment.
Position Summary for Diesel Automotive Technician/MechanicThe Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, diesel engine experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drive trains, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, inspections, and preventive service.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs.
- Maintain service records and repair documentation.
- Ensure fleet vehicles meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate repair schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening.
- At least 21 years of age.
