Job Description- Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems
- Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Keeps current on maintenance logs and documentation
- Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks do not interfere with operations
- Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested
- Assists in tests, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under direct supervision
- Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis and in a timely manner
- Responds to emergency calls and takes call in accordance with facility needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English Required
- Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Required
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Required
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes Required
- Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment Required
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills Required
- Proficient in the operation of gas and electric outside equipment and tools Preferred
- Ability to read and understand work orders Required
- Ability to enter data in CMMS System Required
- Complete all work as assigned Required
- High School Grad or Equiv Required
- 1+ year experience in healthcare setting Preferred
- Driver's License (DL) Required
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$16.72 - $26.75
