Technician III-Equipment; CVD

Job Description

Technician III--Equipment (CVD) at Fab 4 facility in Gresham, Oregon.

Shift: front-night compressed work week (Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Sat, 6:15 PM - 6:30 AM).

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of Applied Centura RTP equipment, and will assist with Novellus C2s, Novellus Sabres, and Watkins Johnson equipment.
• Work with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics.
• Practice effective and productive written and verbal communication.
• Document work in maintenance logs effectively.
• Follow procedures and instructions.
• Contribute as reliable, effective team member with minimal supervision.

• AA degree in a technical field
• Or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training or technical degree.
• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance performing PMs on AMAT tools
• Or equivalent technical military experience
• Solid organizational, documentation and writing skills.
• Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Self-directed, self-motivated.
• Proficient with MS Office products.

• Experience on AMAT RTP tools.
• Additional experience in other fab maintenance areas.

• Participation as an active member of the Fab 4 ERT (Emergency Response Team).
• Ability to meet the requirements of the ERT physical.
• Must pass a physical, fit test and medical clearance for the usage of a tight-fitting respirator (SCBA full face mask level).
• Must maintain physical requirements for wearing SCBA full face mask level.
• Must be able and willing to travel for training purposes.

• Able to lift, push, pull approximately 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing. Work environment could include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes or odors, dust or gases.

This is a Safety Sensitive position.
