Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation while minimizing downtime. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components including shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and mechanical drive systems. Diagnose and resolve issues with electro‑pneumatic systems using strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Competently utilize digital electrical meters to test continuity, voltage, and resistance, demonstrating a practical understanding of both AC and DC circuits.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain photoelectric and proximity sensors to ensure proper machine operation and automation reliability. Assist senior maintenance technicians with equipment installation, advanced repairs, and root cause analysis while adhering to established safety and maintenance procedures. Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and repairs, and maintain organized records, tools, and work areas in accordance with company standards. Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities, support continuous improvement initiatives.

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery. Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills for minor mechanical or electrical issues. Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment.
