Laborer, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Construction Labor ​/ Trades

The Cumberland River Quarry in Salem, Kentucky is currently recruiting for a Laborer. Only online applicants will be considered and evaluated.

• Signed off on both 50 and 100 ton Haul Trucks.
• Signed off on Water Truck.
• Signed off on Skid Steer, Back Hoe and Man Lift.
• Must have general knowledge of Scalping Plant and Wash Plant. Know how to inspect plant and recognize malfunctions before startup and during operation.
• Show competency with all safety standards and operating procedures for each area.
• Must have a good attendance record, have a good attitude towards the job, be responsible for minimal to no property damage incidents. (All incidents will be subject to review by management)
• Complete job duties to the satisfaction of their supervisor.

• Do you have the ability and desire to work 12‑hour shifts?
• Do you have the willingness and flexibility to work weekend or overtime as needed?
• Do you have the ability to do manual labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds?
• Do you have the ability and desire to work during inclement conditions including extreme heat and cold?
• Do you have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, and perform repetitive bending and stooping when required?
• Do you possess excellent communication skills and work well with all personnel at the Quarry?
• Are you motivated and a self‑starter?
• Are you willing to work night shift?
