The location in Hawesville, Kentucky (United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full‑time permanent role.
E&I MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORReporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the key responsibilities of the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor are to lead efforts ensuring reliability and maintainability of equipment. The candidate must be dedicated to safety, supporting a culture of safety excellence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise and support a crew of Journey‑level Electrical‑Instrumentation employees; identify and implement improvements in process & equipment reliability across the Mill by working closely with operations and maintenance personnel; provide technical assistance and reliability leadership/support; maintain rotating on‑call responsibilities; review work requests, initiate and support work‑planning activity, and oversee the work order flow to completion.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
- Technical/trade school diploma with emphasis in electrical technology and a minimum of three (3) years of maintenance supervision experience — or — Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and one (1) year of maintenance supervision experience.
- Experience with installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems including PLC, VFD, and power distribution.
- Familiar with reliability‑centered maintenance practices and predictive maintenance tools.
- Strong equipment and system troubleshooting aptitude.
- Assist in performing root cause failure analysis to eliminate repetitive failures or chronic electrical maintenance needs.
- Good written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate technical activities across all levels of the organization.
- Frequent walking, climbing ladders and stairs; crawling into confined spaces; measuring, lifting, and carrying objects of varying weights.
- Exposure to dust, heat, dirt, grease, chemicals, noise, various weather conditions and other industrial environments.
- Able and willing to support the demands of a 24/7 operation.
- Technical/trade school diploma with emphasis in mechanical technology and a minimum of five (5) years of maintenance supervision experience — or — Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and three (3) years of maintenance supervision experience.
- Experience with installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems including PLC, VFD, and power distribution.
- Experience with SAP Enterprise system which includes Plant Maintenance management processes.
- Reliability‑centered maintenance training.
- Pulp and Paper experience.
- Presentation skills – able to work with a diverse group of people to resolve issues.
- Microsoft Office Products experience.
