Level A Maintenance Technician
Join a team dedicated to maintaining a fleet of garbage trucks servicing the Central Kentucky area. As a Level A Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks from oil changes and tire rotations to brake replacements and mechanical repairs on garbage truck equipment. You will also be responsible for scheduling regular preventive maintenance to ensure the trucks operate efficiently.
Responsibilities- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements on garbage trucks.
- Conduct mechanical repairs on garbage truck equipment.
- Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance for the fleet.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting as needed.
- 2-5 years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical skills, including auto repair.
- Experience with hydraulics and maintenance.
- Willingness to learn and work with garbage trucks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical college or diesel mechanic certification (preferred).

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a well-maintained 5S setting, ensuring clean bays. However, due to the nature of the job, you may encounter smelly and dirty conditions as garbage trucks are serviced. The positions are located in Lexington.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stanford, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
