Summary

Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs and/or replaces, cleans and tests the facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, safety relief systems.

• Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs and/or replaces, cleans and tests the facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, safety relief systems.
• Operate high pressure water blasting machines.
• Tests, repairs and calibrate facility relief valves.
• Utilizes electric, air and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
• Utilizes cutting equipment.
• Rigs for lifting equipment.
• Cleans up work area following completion of assigned job task and properly disposes of waste materials. Returns tools and equipment to normal storage area.

• Minimum four years industrial pipe fitting experience for primary skill and attainment of qualifying skills in two additional maintenance crafts sufficient to assist other craftsmen in performance of their duties.
