Field Service Technician
Dayton, OH - Up to 75% Travel
- Associates preferred or technical trade school certification
- Install, commission, test, perform maintenance, troubleshoot high power distribution equipment (500kVA to 500
MVA) - 3+yearsofelectrical-mechanicaltroubleshooting
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and test equipment
- Familiar with ANSI/IEEE transformer standards
- Client facing including night and weekend travel, 50-75%
- Perform oil sampling, analysis, processing (dry-out) and replacement
- Conduct electrical testing (e.g., insulation resistance, TTR, winding resistance, power factor and SFRA)
- Respond to emergency service calls, provide complete and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with other teams inside and outside of the organization and ensure quality
- OSHA 10/30 Certification
- Valid driver’s license (motor vehicle report) and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or heights
- Background and drug screen
