Position Summary

Mobile Fuel Technician – Mulberry, FL Area

Rotating schedule - includes both day and night shifts - some weekends

Class B CDL License with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement required

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a Mobile Fuel Technician! The Mobile Fuel Technician provides support to the trucks and equipment in the field, including but not limited to vehicle fueling.

Compensation: $25-$27/hr - Depending on Experience - Paid weekly, every Friday!

What the Garage Support Fueler role looks like:

  • Fuel and transport Fleet vehicles
  • Perform pre/post trip inspections
  • Replenishes vehicle with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as needed
  • Completes daily fueling logs
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

What our ideal candidate looks like:

  • CDL with HAZMAT and TANKER Endorsements is required
  • Fueling and mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
  • Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
  • Ability to move and position heavy objects
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
