Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide repair service on new and used equipment like pumps and sprayers.
• Determine estimates for repair of equipment and be able to convey if repair or replacement may be warranted depending on the situation.
• Order needed repair/replacement parts.
• Create work orders and pick tickets for needed repair. Ensure all paperwork is thorough and organized.
• Perform service calls, as needed, which may require travel.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers in person and on the phone.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year experience in a mechanical field or related field is preferred.
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate basic information in a professional, polite, and courteous manner.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

This is a 40-hour/week job with occasional overtime. Required tools for the job will be provided, as well as equipment. Specific training will be provided as well as continuing education. This includes offsite training involving travel.
