The Florida Department of Transportation seeks an Automotive Equipment Mechanic II at the South Dade Shop in Miami. You will diagnose, repair, overhaul and maintain gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions and major components in automobiles, trucks and heavy equipment.
Responsibilities include field testing, preventative maintenance, emergency road service, tire work and waste compliance. You may mentor others and track time and parts used.
