Martin Specialty Coatings is hiring experienced Drywall Finishers for work at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

• Have professional drywall finishing experience
• Are skilled with traditional hand finishing tools
• Take pride in producing quality work
• Can meet the credentialing requirements to work on a U.S. military installation
• Are dependable, safety-minded, and ready to WORK

Experience with automatic taping/finishing tools (mud tools) is a PLUS!

A jouneyman is someone who can work independently or with in a team and fully understands the steps required for successful completion of a project. They should have a strong working knowledge of commercial painting, drywall finishing, texturing, and wall protection. Good Communication, leadership, problem solving and organizational skill are a plus. Core Competancies must include

Job Requirements:

A valid driver's license (in good standing)

Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.

Able to work Saturday and Sundays, if needed

Authorized to work in the United States

Have reliable transportation
