Laborer – Department of Public Works – Deal Borough.
Is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Department of Public Works (DPW) Laborer. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers a variety of duties essential to maintaining and improving community infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Sanitation collection.
- Buildings and grounds maintenance.
- Sanitary sewer repairs.
- Road repairs and storm basin upkeep.
- Snow removal and related seasonal tasks.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to work overtime during peak times (e.g., snow removal and summer), some Saturdays, and emergency callouts.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary $41,827.14.
