About Appolo Heating

Appolo Heating is a growing residential HVAC and plumbing service company serving communities across New York's Capital Region and Southern Tier. We've built our reputation on doing the job right and giving our installers the training, tools, and support they need to build a real career — not just another job.

About the Role

Appolo Heating is hiring experienced HVAC RNC Lead Installers to head up new residential construction projects in the Capital Region (Albany area) and the Southern Tier (Vestal area). You'll own the installation process from rough-in to final trim-out on custom single-family homes, townhouses, and large residential developments, ensuring high structural quality and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute complete HVAC installations in new builds, including duct layout/hanging, refrigerant line sets, drain lines, gas piping, and equipment setting (furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, HRVs/ERVs)
  • Read architectural plans and engineering spec sheets to route ductwork and position air handlers for optimal airflow and efficiency
  • Direct and mentor apprentice installers on site, prioritizing safety, job speed, and neat craft quality (sheet metal wrapping, sealing, and transition fitting)
  • Coordinate with general contractors, framers, electricians, and local building inspectors to keep project timelines on schedule
  • Ensure all sheet metal fabrication, flues, and gas lines strictly adhere to NYS Residential Building Code and EPA guidelines
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of dedicated residential new construction (RNC) HVAC installation experience
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal or Type II)
  • Advanced practical knowledge of sheet metal, duct sizing, low-voltage control wiring, and line-set brazing
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, attics, and unfinished building sites in all seasons
Compensation & Benefits
  • $66,500 – $125,000 annually — base hourly pay plus RNC piece-rate bonuses and job-completion incentives
  • Medical, dental, and vision health coverage
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match
  • PTO, paid holidays, and company-provided uniforms
  • Company van/truck, gas card, and power tool assistance programs
Work Location

Covers new residential construction projects in the Capital Region (Albany area) and the Southern Tier (Vestal area), NY.
