**** Qualifications Required
** Must pass an uphill MIG bend test
** Job Duties
*** Set up, use and maintain Lincoln and Miller welders
* Maintain PPE’s
* Interpret project blueprints
* Read and take measurements
* MIG weld all roots, fills and caps on 516 70 steel boilers to comply with welding standards
* Use cranes to move boilers and parts throughout shop
* Repair minor weld defects with angle and pencil grinders
* Repair leaking weld defects with stick welding method
* Maintain a clean work environment
* Comply with OSHA standards
* Follow orders of Foreman and Shop Supervisor
** Skills Required
*** Ability to operate hand held machinery
* Attention to detail
* Timeliness and punctuality
* General understanding of welding procedures
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to use hand held power tools and welders for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift objects over 40 pounds
* Ability to work in tight spaces
* Ability to work in maintained high temperatures
