Avionic Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced Avionic Technician to perform installations on Sikorsky UH-60 helicopters. Candidates must have their own tools etched and shadowed.
- Perform installations on Sikorsky UH-60 helicopters.
- Utilize strong experience with UH-60, HH-60, SH-60 helicopters, with a focus on avionics.
- Apply military experience in avionic tasks and modifications.
- Ensure all work is completed with precision and safety.
- Minimum of 4 years of Sikorsky Avionics experience on aircraft.
- Military experience is required.
- Must own tools that are etched and shadowed.
- Experience in modifications, installations, or repairs.
- Capability to secure and maintain a secret clearance.
- Experience with SH-60 or CH-53 helicopters is beneficial.
- Experience in avionic systems and procedures.
This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment in a climate-controlled hangar, promoting comfort and safety. Employees appreciate a structured schedule from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in a climate-controlled hangar, ensuring a comfortable setting. Employees are required to wear a T-shirt, work pants, and steel toe boots. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 4pm. This role is a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent hire.
Job Type LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakehurst, New Jersey.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
