Greenier Builders, Inc. is a custom home builder based in York, Maine, specializing in high-quality custom residential construction throughout Southern Maine.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter's Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of residential construction or carpentry experience and be looking for an opportunity to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced carpenters and lead carpenters.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the demands of a construction site, and wants to build a long-term career in custom residential construction.

• Assist Lead Carpenters with all phases of custom home construction
• Assist with framing, siding, windows, doors, trim, and finish carpentry
• Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately
• Safely operate common hand and power tools
• Assist with layout and interpretation of construction plans
• Help with material handling, deliveries, and jobsite organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
• Work efficiently and follow direction from Lead Carpenters and Project Managers
• Identify and communicate potential problems or issues
• Take pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Work as part of a professional team to maintain project schedules and quality standards

• Minimum 2 years of residential construction or carpentry experience
• Experience with custom residential construction is a plus
• Basic understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand basic construction plans
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Physically able to perform the demands of residential construction
