Marion Subaru has an immediate opening for an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform collision repairs from repair preparation through final assembly. This is a full-time, flat-rate position for an experienced technician who knows the trade, takes pride in quality repairs, and wants the opportunity to stay productive. Our goal is to provide approximately 50 flat-rate hours of work per week, with production potential reaching 100 flat-rate hours, for a highly productive technician, when workload supports it.
Marion Collision Center is a modern and progressive facility, including air conditioned shop major common equipment including welders, lifts, frame racks, and other shared collision repair equipment | a 4 day work week plusan incredibly supportive team!

What You’ll Do:- Perform complete collision and auto body repairs according to repair plans.
- Disassemble vehicles as necessary to identify and complete required repairs.
- Repair and replace damaged body panels and components.
- Perform structural and non-structural repairs.
- Complete vehicle reassembly and final fit-up following repairs.
- Work with modern vehicle materials, repair methods, and manufacturer procedures as required.
- Properly use welding, frame, measuring, lifting, and other collision repair equipment.
- Inspect completed work for fit, finish, alignment, and repair quality.
- Communicate additional damage or repair needs discovered during the repair process.
- Work with estimators, parts personnel, painters, and other technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Ability to independently perform collision repairs and vehicle reassembly.
- Knowledge of structural and non-structural repair techniques.
- Experience with automotive welding and collision repair equipment.
- Strong attention to repair quality and detail.
- Ability to read and follow repair plans and manufacturer repair procedures.
- Dependable, productive, and able to work effectively as part of a collision repair team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have your own technician hand tools.
