Job Description

Resicum International, LLC. is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic III – Power Plant personnel to support MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida
.

Aircraft Mechanic III Power Plant personnel perform advanced scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, removal and installation, and modification of aircraft powerplant systems and associated components.

Mechanic III personnel must be capable of troubleshooting complex aircraft powerplant discrepancies, interpreting technical documentation, prioritizing workloads, and providing technical guidance to lower-level mechanics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60R/S powerplant systems.
  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, removal, installation, and modification of powerplant components.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft engine and powerplant discrepancies.
  • Diagnose malfunctions using applicable technical manuals and authorized test equipment.
  • Interpret MH-60R/S technical publications, maintenance manuals, and technical directives.
  • Perform aircraft powerplant component replacement and adjustment.
  • Support engine and associated subsystem maintenance.
  • Support aircraft servicing operations.
  • Apply technical knowledge to determine causes of powerplant malfunctions.
  • Restore aircraft powerplant systems and components to required operating condition.
  • Use aircraft-specific tools, support equipment, and test equipment.
  • Support aircraft inspections and maintenance requirements.
  • Make required aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
  • Support corrosion prevention and control.
  • Support aircraft movement and flight-line operations.
  • Support aircraft detachments as required.
  • Support SAR maintenance operations when directed.
  • Provide technical guidance to lower-level maintenance personnel.
  • Inspect work performed by lower-level mechanics as authorized.
  • Support CDI/CDQAR and Technical Directive Compliance programs.
  • Participate in emergency drills and aircraft movement or salvage operations when directed.
  • Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.

Requirements

Specific MH-60R/S Experience — REQUIRED
  • Must have direct hands-on aircraft powerplant maintenance experience applicable to MH-60R/S aircraft.
  • Must have experience performing Organizational-Level aircraft powerplant maintenance.
  • Must have experience performing scheduled and unscheduled powerplant maintenance.
  • Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft engine and powerplant discrepancies.
  • Must have experience interpreting applicable aircraft powerplant technical publications.
  • Must have experience removing, installing, servicing, inspecting, and repairing aircraft powerplant components.
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting complex aircraft powerplant problems.
  • Generic powerplant mechanic experience without applicable rotary-wing aircraft experience does not satisfy the specific experience requirement.
Additional Requirements
  • Must possess a current U.S. Passport
    .
  • Must possess aircraft powerplant maintenance experience appropriate to the Mechanic III skill level.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of aircraft powerplant systems.
  • Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft engine and powerplant systems.
  • Must have experience using aircraft maintenance tools and test equipment.
  • Must have experience interpreting technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting complex aircraft maintenance problems.
  • Must be capable of prioritizing workload and meeting maintenance schedules.
  • Must be capable of making accurate aircraft maintenance record entries.
  • Must maintain required aircraft maintenance qualifications and certifications.
  • Qualifications may include CDQAR, Plane Captain/Plane Handler, APU/Engine Operator, Tire and Wheel, Hydraulic Contamination, Vibration Analysis, Ordnance, Forklift
    , and other qualifications applicable to assigned duties.
  • Must be willing and able to support aircraft detachments and travel as required.
