General Maintenance Technician

The General Maintenance Mechanic inspects, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Ensures all work performed meets safety codes and is properly inspected. Use a variety of tools or equipment. Has at least two to three years of journeyman-level electrical experience. Typically requires a state electrician license. They also assist with day-to-day preventive maintenance, office moves, building, grounds, and equipment installation projects.

Performs maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, pneumatics, and machine and electrical servicing for the organization’s facilities.
