Delamar is looking for a hotel maintenance worker to maintain the hotel in accordance with our luxury hotel standards by performing preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.

Essential Duties:

• Ability to remain standing or walking during majority of shift.
• Climbing stairs. Bending or working on hands and knees.
• Lifting up to 75lbs unassisted.
• Climbing ladders, step stools for repairs.
• Ability to reach overhead and use upper body extremities to work overhead and / or tight areas.
• Good communication skills needed to be able to speak to guest and / or associates to handle repairs, room concerns, temperature concerns, and emergency situations.
• Employee must be undeterred by heights including rooftops.

• Must have strong skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical.
• Skills in HVAC are preferred but not essential.
• Ability to respond effectively during emergency procedures.
• Must be able to properly maintain logs and documentation.
• Basic skills preferred in computer operation (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a relative field and references are preferred.
