Ensure safe, efficient, and economical operation, maintenance, and control of the city’s water and wastewater systems, including water production, water and wastewater treatment, storage, distribution and collection system facilities.

• High school or GED, plus one year of water or wastewater treatment experience.
• Basic:
  Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing
• Must possess a valid Class "C" Driver’s license when hired.
• Must have at least one D or higher TCEQ License in water or wastewater treatment.
• Ability to obtain TCEQ C water and C wastewater within 18 months of hire or promotion.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and MVR check.

Regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, small, medium, and large trucks, mowers, backhoe, front end loader, dump truck, sewer jet, probe rod, pumps, power tools, hand tools, driver's license/cdl, etc.)
