We're looking for a skilled, self-sufficient General Handyman to handle a wide range of light commercial/industrial maintenance and renovation work. This role is ideal for someone who's genuinely handy — capable of moving between plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and finish work without needing "hand-holding." You'll be the go-to person for facility upkeep, improvement work, and renovation projects.
Key Skills below is a general list — expectations may vary based on project scope.
Plumbing- Swap out toilets, flush valves, and fixtures in commercial/industrial settings
- Rough-in plumbing for new fixtures or remodels
- Replace faucets, sinks, and supply lines
- Basic diagnosis of leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Replace outlets, switches, and light fixtures
- Troubleshoot simple circuit issues (breakers, dead outlets)
- Install ceiling fans, exterior lighting, and interior fixtures
- Know when to flag work that requires a licensed electrician
- Light framing, trim, and door/window repair or replacement
- Drywall installation, patching, taping, and finishing
- Interior and exterior painting (prep, priming, finish coats)
- General building renovation, additions, remodels, buildouts
- Tile installation and repair (setting, grouting, layout)
- LVP (luxury vinyl plank) installation
- Epoxy flooring application (coating prep, application, curing)
- Subfloor repair/leveling as needed
- Chain-link fence installation and repair (posts, tension wire, fabric, gates)
- General site maintenance and small structural repairs
- Diagnose problems independently and determine the right fix
- Source materials and communicate needs to ownership/ops
- Maintain a clean, safe job site
- Complete work orders and communicate status/completion clearly
- 3+ years of hands-on experience across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring)
- Working knowledge of basic code requirements (even if not licensed)
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, kneel/crouch for extended periods
