Express Employment is hiring an experienced Diesel Pickup Truck Technician for a busy shop environment. We're seeking a skilled professional who can work independently and handle repairs on light- to medium-duty gasoline and diesel pickup trucks (Dodge, Chevrolet, GMC, and Ford). No semi-truck work.
Pay: $15-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engines
Perform fuel system repairs and electrical troubleshooting
Replace injectors and complete general engine repairs
Perform brake and suspension work including control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, and ball joints
Remove and install engines and transmissions
Mount and balance tires
Safely operate vehicle lifts and shop equipment
Handle a wide range of general mechanical repairs
Requirements:
Extensive hands-on experience with gasoline and diesel pickup trucks
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Welding experience is a plus, not required
Must have basic hand and power tools
