Tenneco hasExcellent benefit options that starts upon date of hire, including a medical PPO and high deductible option, dental, vision (basic and enhanced option), life insurances, critical illness, pet insurance, life lock, and other benefit options. Also, there is a 401(k) with an enhanced contribution and matching program. Rate of pay for a a Senior Maintenance Technician with PLC experience starts at $41.00 per hour and progresses to $42.00 an hour.

This position is a day shift.

The Sr Maintenance Tech - PLCinstalls, maintains, and repairs production, facility, and support equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This advanced role requiresstrong PLC expertisefor troubleshooting, diagnostics, and modification of automated systems; maintenance support ofMIG and TIGwelding equipment and related environmental controls; and active participation in5Sand workplace organization initiatives. The position also requires effective communication, teamwork, and the ability towork collaborativelywith personnel at all levels to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This position is responsible for contributing to a safe work place and minimizing negative environmental impacts by complying with the EHS policies, procedures, work instructions outlined in the EHSMS Training Assessment for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implements and sustains the Preventative Maintenance Program, including performing required scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment in accordance with manufacturer‑recommended maintenance schedules. Maintenance activities occur on a regular and ongoing basis.
• Maintains production equipment and machinery throughout all areas of the plant, ensuring equipment functions to specification. Responds to and repairs machine breakdowns on a continuous basis and maintains a strong working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, controls, and processes.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, andlogic‑based control issues, using systematic problem‑solving techniques to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Demonstratesstrong PLC capabilityincluding online troubleshooting, diagnostics, program modification, and support of automated equipment and processes; serves as a technical resource for PLC‑related issues and continuous improvement opportunities.
