General Responsibilities:
Build the Ground Beneath Tomorrow's Projects.
Join our Exploration Team and operate drilling equipment, collect soil and rock samples, install monitoring instruments, and support geotechnical investigations on projects that shape communities.
- Perform drilling, sampling, and subsurface exploration activities.
- Assist with geotechnical testing and instrumentation installation.
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment and tooling.
- Collect and classify soil and rock samples.
- Complete field documentation and work safely as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the Crew. Drive the Rig. Build the Future from the Ground Up.
What You'll Do
- Operate geotechnical drill rigs and perform subsurface exploration activities.
- Lead a 2-3 person drill crew and support daily field operations.
- Install monitoring wells and geotechnical instrumentation.
- Perform site reconnaissance, surveying, utility locates, and project preparation.
- Drive, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot drilling equipment.
- Work safely, maintain quality standards, and participate in project planning.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of drilling or exploration experience.
- Experience with geotechnical and/or environmental drilling methods.
- Ability to lead field crews and work safely in a hands-on outdoor environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days of hire.
- State drilling or well installation licenses (where required) are a plus.
