Diagnose and repair elevators, stairlifts, and platform lifts in the field. Rotating on-call for service calls.
What you will do- Respond to service calls and diagnose faults on-site
- Repair or replace controllers, drives, batteries, motors, and safety devices
- Complete preventive maintenance visits on a route schedule
- Explain the problem and the fix to the homeowner in plain language
- Document parts used and work performed for every call
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Field service, electrical, or mechanical repair experience
- Comfortable troubleshooting without step-by-step supervision
- Valid driver license and clean driving record
- Strong customer-facing communication
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, pits, and crawl spaces
- Reliable and punctual — customers are often waiting on you
