Adolescent Treatment Team Leader – Job Description

Location: California, KY 41007

Holly Hill Child and Family Solutions is seeking Adolescent Treatment Team Leaders to join our growing team. Adolescent Treatment Team Leaders are responsible for providing direct care and supervision of the residents in care. This position requires you to be 21 years of age.

Pay: $21.50 (+$0.50 after 6 months of employment
)

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: Flexible schedule is required (may include nights, weekends, holidays)

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe, therapeutic milieu by maintaining an active presence, providing support, role modeling, coaching, supervision, and guidance.
  • Ensure that adequate staff ratios are maintained to meet the needs of all clients by appropriately filling in for shift(s) as needed.
  • Provide support to co-workers in all areas of residential care as needed.
  • Enforce rules, policies, and regulations of the therapeutic milieu.
  • Utilize and oversee the proper use of crisis de-escalation interventions and physical restraining interventions in accordance with agency policy.
  • Serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate skills of therapeutic behavior management.
  • Ensure that staff maintains a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the milieu.
  • Comply with emergency and crisis intervention procedures and implement them in a calm and expedient manner.
  • Seek to fulfill Holly Hill's mission.
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a High School diploma or two years of college; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with vulnerable at-risk youth.
  • 1+ year(s) experience working with at-risk youth in a residential setting preferred.
  • Current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Typical Demands of an Adolescent Treatment Team Leader

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, crawling and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, copier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Supporting therapeutic physical restraints of youth ages 12-17 to ensure safety. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 35 pounds.

Requires some exposure to chemicals and solvents.

Mental Demands: Must be able to establish priorities, work independently and carry out decisions and tasks. Must be able to handle and resolve problems and make effective decisions. Must be able to remain patient with youth. Must be able to communicate effectively with others in a professional manner. Requires public contact and good interpersonal skills. Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people, problem solving, attention to detail, evaluating and assessing situations, analyzing and forecasting and interpreting data.

Holly Hill Child and Family Solutions is seeking Adolescent Treatment Team Leaders to join our growing team. The Adolescent Treatment Team Leader works with adolescent girls (aged 12-17) with severe emotional and behavioral issues living in a therapeutic group home setting. ATLs interact and monitor the girls through daily living activities, including schoolwork, chores, meals, recreation and morning and bedtime routines.

The position requires flexible schedules (including weekends and holidays). The ideal candidate will be a team player who takes initiative, has excellent communication skills, and has a strong understanding of at-risk adolescents.
