Program: Addiction Recovery Services

Reports To: Program Manager

Volunteers of America Mid‑States (VOA) is a non‑profit organization spanning four states that creates positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. We provide housing for families, veterans, and low‑income seniors, care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, restorative justice accountability, and free HIV testing and education.

We serve individuals in critical stages of addiction recovery where in‑person care can make all the difference.

• Provide individual and group therapy for individuals in addiction recovery
• Facilitate evidence‑based groups (relapse prevention, trauma‑informed care, etc.)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support whole‑person care
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and treatment planning
• Support clients through early recovery and high‑risk transitions

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Licensure or license‑eligible ([LCSW, CSW, LPCC, MFT, LPCA])
• Experience or interest in addiction recovery preferred
